Positioning

Instinct backed by evidence.

The firms that get AI, M&A, and market entry right aren't the ones with the biggest consultants or the flashiest dashboards. They're the ones with leaders who've seen the pattern before, and who can hold the instinct up to the data without flinching.

That's what Atlas Instinct brings to the table. Senior practitioner judgment, shaped by years inside the rooms where these decisions actually get made. Sharpened by modern tooling, including AI, competitive intelligence platforms, and rigorous analysis, so the advice is grounded in what the market is actually doing, not what a pitch deck claims.

The result is a different kind of engagement. Smaller. Faster. Direct. And scoped to the decision, not the calendar.

Who you're working with

Kevin Farley.

Kevin Farley, founder of Atlas Instinct

Atlas Instinct is led by Kevin Farley, Managing Director. The firm pairs his marketing and strategy leadership with a principal software engineer and a vetted partner network, so senior practitioners do the work, not a junior team behind a pricing tier.

Twenty-five years across financial services and Fortune-50 technology. Most recently, 13 years leading marketing for a mid-market financial institution that grew from $725M to $1.6B in assets while he ran the function. Before that, global program management at Dell, where the work drove roughly $30M a month in incremental revenue. He speaks on AI search visibility for financial institutions, including at the 2026 Financial Brand Forum, and built the AI Visibility Scorecard that now benchmarks 420 institutions.

The senior team brings career experience across brands including GlaxoSmithKline, TD Ameritrade, 7-Eleven, Dell, Meritage Homes, Sara Lee, Hertz, Newland Communities (now Brookfield), Compaq, and KPMG, spanning Fortune 500 and mid-market, consumer and B2B.

Kevin runs point on engagements, backed by the firm's engineering bench and partner network. More on his background at kevinfarley.org.

What you get

How Atlas Instinct is different.

01

Senior-led, start to finish.

Every conversation, every deliverable, every call, handled by senior practitioners. No associates, no handoffs, no pricing-tier gates between you and the work.

02

Evidence over opinion.

Instinct without evidence is a guess. Evidence without instinct is a dashboard. The value is in the combination, and both sides show up in the work.

03

Scoped to the decision.

Engagements end when the decision is made or the milestone is hit. Monthly retainers exist where they earn their keep, not as a default.

Industries

Built for regulated, relationship-driven markets.

Credit unions, banks, fintechs, and public sector programs all live under real constraints, regulatory, cultural, and economic. The advice has to account for those from the first conversation, not the final slide. Operator background also applies to B2B SaaS and technology companies.

Credit Unions

AI visibility acceleration, AI readiness, growth strategy, field-of-membership strategy, vendor selection, and competitive response. With fluency in CUSO economics, league dynamics, and NCUA expectations.

Banks

Community, regional, and large privately held banks navigating AI adoption, AI visibility, brand and marketing strategy, competitive positioning, and M&A. Built for institutions under real OCC and FDIC oversight, with marketing leadership earned across more than two decades in financial services.

Fintechs

Market entry into credit unions: ICP definition, positioning that resonates with CU buyers, GTM motion, and the playbook to move past the conference-booth stage.

Government & Public Sector

Strategic marketing, brand strategy, campaign development, audience research, and measurement for federal, state, and local programs. Senior-led strategy and analytics, with established teaming partners for national production and media buying. See public sector capabilities →
